I made two batches of lavender jelly. I love how it came out. I especially love the pink color. That is the natural color you get when you steep the lavender. One poster to our Facebook page said it looked like “stained glass” and you know it really does!
As for the flavor, it has light lavender-lemon and sweet floral flavor. The jelly is made with organic culinary grade lavender, lemon juice, pectin and sugar. No other additives.
How can you use lavender jelly? It’s wonderful served as a dessert with ice cream, pudding, or cream. It can also be served as an accompaniment to meats, such as lamb or poultry. How about serving it over brie cheese as an appetizer? And of course the old stand by on toast, English muffin, or biscuits.
How to order:
If you would like some please PM me through our facebook page or the contact page on the website. I can arrange to deliver around Thanksgiving to downriver area, Riverview, Mi. I am willing to drive 10-15 miles for deliveries. The second week of December I will back down in the Metro Detroit area to stay for awhile. So deliveries can be done then too. PM me and we can discuss options.
As with all our food items – jelly/jam, shortbread cookies- we sell through direct consumer sales – either by delivery, pick up, or at Farmer’s Markets. We provide these items under Michigan Cottage Food Law – so unfortunately no online selling of food items is allowed. We hope to get a fully licensed kitchen at some point to expand, but for now we are happy to sell directly to our clients.
At the present time we are not at any Farmer’s Markets or Craft shows, as I am going back and forth between two locations and busy filling holiday orders. However this may change after the holidays and we will possibly be participating in some markets or crafts shows this spring/summer . I will definitely let you know the locations and post them.

Ordering Online for non-culinary items:
If you would like to purchase something online just click on our Store tab here on the website or go to our Facebook page and click “shop”. The items in our Etsy shop are: Sachets – 3 different kinds , goats milk soaps, beeswax candles, culinary lavender tins, and beautiful lavender Christmas ornaments – these are special and on sale 2 for 10.00. I think these make lovely gifts, for example for kids teachers.
