The benefits of beeswax candles are many. Beeswax candles burns longer and cleaner than other wax. 100% pure beeswax naturally burns up to three times longer than paraffin. Beeswax candles have a natural honey smell. I add lavender essential oils and organic dried lavender for a confetti look as well as adding a touch of coconut oil, which helps with the cracking that can be associated with beeswax candles. I also will make plain candles (just beeswax and coconut oil) on custom order.
Whether plain or scented with pure essential oils, beeswax candles do not have the overpowering scent that soy candles do. This is great news to those who are scent sensitive. For those who are used to a stronger smelling candle the more subtle scent may take some adjusting too. I was one of those people. Once I stopped using soy candles I could actually smell the more subtle hints of honey, coconut, and lavender scents without it being overpowering. Honestly, I love the fragrance that just hits a clean note. They smell very fresh and clean and crisp.
Also beeswax candles do not emit the harmful chemicals that others candles types can. Beeswax candles are natural air purifier as they release negative ions, which will clean allergens and dust from your home air. I also use all cotton braid wicks which are absolutely lead and zinc free giving a super clean burn.
The downside is the cost. Beeswax candles are generally more expensive than soy and that is simply due to the cost of the wax and also the labor involved. Beeswax is the most expensive wax for a candle maker to purchase so this extra cost does get passed to the consumer . Also beeswax is a bit harder to work with than soy or paraffin. Beeswax has a much higher melt point, which requires longer melting times. Also getting the wax the correct temperature to avoid cracks, holes or other imperfections can be tricky. My candles are hand poured so there are slight variations as candles will not be exactly uniform from candle to candle.
Overall, I enjoy making and using beeswax candles. I use them exclusively in my home now.

My sister loves to collect scented candles, which is why when I visit her home it has always this welcoming vibe as if I’m in a spa. I think having one at home would be great too! I found beeswax candles online and I couldn’t help but be amazed by its benefits. One of the things I like about what you mentioned is that this type of candle serves as a natural air purifier that cleans dust, which can provide good air circulation around the place. With that, I shall then purchase a couple of candles.

My wife loves candles, so I was thinking about making her some for her birthday. It’s good to know that beeswax can be such a good material in candle making. I’ll see if I can get some so that I can make some candles out of it for her.

The other day my wife mentioned that it is important for us to choose the right home fragrance. It makes sense as it will impact the ambiance and environment. I will keep this information for future reference.

It is great that this post underlined that one of the many benefits of beeswax candles is that it burns longer and cleaner. My wife loves candles. I will definitely look for beeswax candles to be gifted to her since it is environmentally friendlier.
